👉 Global AI Investments in 2024
Artificial intelligence continues to dominate venture capital funding in 2024, accounting for an estimated 28% of total investments year-to-date, according to TechCrunch. While AI funding runs across sectors and isn’t directly reflected in S&P Global’s industry breakdown, its influence is undeniable. If AI funding were categorized separately, it would overshadow almost every sector except for Consumer (25.1%) and Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (28.4%)—the two clear leaders in March 2024. As AI continues to redefine industry landscapes, it’s clear that its role in shaping investment trends will only grow.

👉 Brighteye Ventures finalizes AI in Edtech Report Series
The AI in Edtech Series explores how artificial intelligence is transforming education by addressing critical challenges and unlocking opportunities across the educational spectrum. The series highlights the impact of both AI-first startups, which prioritize proprietary AI solutions, and AI-second startups, which integrate large language models into existing tools to expand their functionality. By considering three key stakeholder groups—administrators, educators/researchers, and learners—the series demonstrates how AI can optimize staffing and resource allocation, streamline lesson planning, and deliver adaptive learning support for students. Read the summary and the individual deep-dives for different market-focus groups here.
