👉 PISA 2022 Results
PISA 2022 Results are coming out in December 2023, offering valuable insights into the education system in the wake of the pandemic. The 8th edition of the PISA, the global benchmark in educational assessments, was postponed due to the disruption caused by Covid-19. We expect the results to shed light on learning and education before and after the pandemic. Find out more in this OECD article.
👉 Adaptive Learning in Educational Practice
In this blog post, MemoryLab explores the practical challenges of implementing adaptive learning systems in real-world educational settings. The post features examples of successful adaptability and stresses the importance of considering the social context of education in technology development. Read the full blog post for more insights.
👉 Implementing GenAI in education
In September, UNESCO published the first-ever global Guidance on Generative AI in Education and Research. Following the developments in the ongoing conversation on GenAI in education, Dutch EdTech member Prowise introduced the innovative tool “Tessa”. Tessa is a smart assistant powered by generative AI and can tailor lessons based on information provided by the teacher in just two minutes!

📣 Tools Competition awarding over $6 million for EdTech Innovation
The $6 million global EdTech Learning Engineering Prize Competition is now open. "The Tools Competition" invites submissions of innovative EdTech solutions addressing key educational challenges for all age groups. From early-stage ideas to established platforms, all are welcome to compete. Submit your abstract by November 10 for a chance to win!
📣 News from Dutch EdTech
BETT London 2024
The Dutch delegation is joining the BETT London for the 3rd year in a row! This year, we aspire to showcase an even more diverse array of EdTech companies, once again in collaboration with the Dutch Embassy in the UK and the Regional Development Agency (ROM) in Utrecht.

On October 10, the Dutch EdTech community came together with EdTech experts, EEA members, and VCs! This wonderful session was packed with exciting insights into the growing Dutch EdTech community, upcoming developments, and a lively discussion on future of EdTech. We look forward to more community gatherings in the near future to drive innovation in EdTech!

On November 1, we hosted the Swiss EdTech Collider, Educa, and various Dutch and Swiss EdTech leaders in Amsterdam. As part of the “Ronde van EdTech” tour of our Swiss guests, we had a day filled with knowledge exchange and inspiring discussions, reinforcing the importance of collaboration!
