Keeping up with the latest in education & learning technology
👉 Dutch Primary Schools Implementing Device Bans
As students in the Noord region return to school, Dutch primary schools are banning smartphones, smartwatches, and other devices to boost focus and reduce distractions. This policy follows similar measures in the Centrum and Zuid regions, with exceptions applying for educational and medical use. This move is part of a broader European trend, with countries like Hungary, Italy, Greece, the Netherlands, and Sweden also implementing or considering device bans due to concerns about distractions and social media. Aligning research with policy will be key to creating effective educational environments across Europe.
