👉 The Ukrainian Support Initiative is a free portal that aims to help Ukrainian teachers and learners wherever they are now. It has been developed by the European Edtech Alliance and the Learning Together Project and was funded by Finland’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Commission.

It was described by attendees as “wall-to-wall high stakes, high octane and high value, all day”, and “a significant moment for the European edtech ecosystem, accelerating synergies between a very crucial group of leaders for the future of our continent”.
👉 Student loans startups: coming of age. The cost of higher education has increased in the past few years with student loans gaining importance. Dealroom has mapped 70 startups in education financing.

📣 The European Edtech Map by the Europen Edtech Alliance. Supporting the domestic and international growth of edtech and innovation in education, the European Edtech Alliance offers this public European Edtech map in order to create a common picture of the European landscape in this vibrant, booming and fast-growing market, and to showcase all its diversity. 📣 Apply to the Female Edtech Fellowship. Are you a female founder in the growth stage of building an Edtech startup in Europe? Then apply to a 6-months fellowship run by the European Edtech Alliance and Supercharger Ventures until July 1st. The cohort starts on July 18th and includes monthly expert calls with outstanding entrepreneurs, peer-to-peer learning and problem solving amongst the fellows and an off-site weekend in France to better connect with fellow entrepreneurs and investors.
📣 Can your solution help universities? The SURF EdTech working group for educational innovation within the Acceleration Plan is launching the Startup in Residence (SiR) Edtech program. For six months, universities will work together with innovative companies on challenges within higher education, where educational technology offers a possible solution. As a startup, you get the opportunity to work on a solution with a university. During this incubation phase, a mentoring and training program is followed by both parties, focusing on specific themes that are relevant during the process.
