Welcome to our first newsletter! ๐พEvery week dozens of articles appear about education, the future of work or learning technologies.Even though I try to read quite a few of them, I realised it's hard to keep up. There are still startups I have never heard of, or research that we should have known about long ago. Therefore we launched the new foundation Dutch Edtech today. Many thanks to the Ministry of Economic Affairs & Climate Policy, Ministry of Education, Culture & Science, Marineterrein and StartupAmsterdam for making this possible.๐The foundation is here to connect the Dutch Edtech community in order to accelerate learning and education. We will answer questions like: Who are active in this field and which (scientific) insights should we share? And perhaps the most important: how can we work together more often?Specifically, we are going to focus on four goals:Create a good overview of the Dutch Edtech ecosystem - who are active in this field?Share insights - like this newsletter, but we also have a podcast and we will host (online) events about specific topics.Strengthen our position - we want to stimulate collaborations in order to attract talent and capital.Increase social impact - EdTech can play a role in making learning accessible in order to upskill and reskill a broader audience.Hopefully this got you excited. Do you want to become a member? Drop us a mail: roel@dutchedtech.comSo much for all the service announcements.
